My big news is...
we’re launching an in-house line! My husband and business partner, Tim, and I have been developing a collection of fully customizable engagement rings and wedding bands for clients to shop online and in our showroom. Other than our antique engagement collection, we do absolutely everything on a custom basis now, so this will expand our in-store options and give clients a more comprehensive idea of what we can achieve as designers.
For me, 2020 has brought...
a serious reflection on what it means to be a responsible citizen.

that we will have taken the profoundly urgent lessons of today to heart and make leaps in social justice initiatives, science-based political decision-making and climate change remediation.

I would be spending so much time in our teeny-tiny cabin out in the Shenandoah, but when a pandemic hits and you have a 4-year-old, escapes to the country are imperative!

seeing how resilient the Alexandria business community can be.
My outlook has shifted by...
about 180 degrees. I’m a natural planner, and right now you can only plan so much. I have worked hard to shift my outlook on this—from frustrated panic to steady-footed adaptability.

simplification. Elegant, timeless pieces that are comfortable and easy to wear—not athleisure!
I am supporting my local community by...
dedicating 10% of our retail sales to the ACT for Alexandria COVID-19 Response Fund, which continues to provide grants to local organizations servicing the ever- changing needs of our community. We’re also running a virtual food drive to support the Capital Area Food Bank. We’re pledging to match each donation our clients make, up to $100 per donation, and we’re including the drive information in every appointment confirmation we send.
