The Fairmont Georgetown hosts the 10th annual Howl-O-Ween at its New Courtyard Bar
Take a trip to Georgetown’s Fairmont Washington DC for the 10th Annual Howl-O-Ween—Thursday evening, Oct. 28, from 6-7:30 pm. The Courtyard Bar will host its costume-themed event for friends, neighbors and canine companions.
Modern Luxury DC’s Editor-In-Chief, Michael McCarthy, along with others, will judge and award the best costumed dogs and people. The intimate space and event features great cocktails, light bites and more. Treat your dog to peanut butter biscuits crafted by the Fairmont pastry team; special cocktails from Fairmont’s mixology team also will thrill guests.
Fairmont’s convenient location in DC’s West offers plenty of parking, and another big draw: Georgie, a yellow Labrador born at Guiding Eyes for the Blind, with the aspiration of one day becoming a guide dog. However, she was found to be excessively friendly for that role. Luckily, Mark Huntley the hotel’s general manager knew she was better suited for the hospitality industry, so Georgie now spends her time in the lobby and courtyard greeting guests, visitors and holding special events. 401 M St NW, 202.429.2400, fairmont.com
