The newest Warby Parker location has opened its doors in the Union Market District. This new location marks the brand’s fourth shop to open in the greater Washington, DC area, with other shops nearby in Georgetown, Shaw and Bethesda.
Warby Parker’s latest DC location is a full-service eyewear boutique. Guests are able to take eye exams at the shop and walk out with prescription sunglasses, unique glasses, and a selection of contacts from both in-house brands and leading name brands. This DC location will carry the brand’s trendy recent Statement Metals and sustainably-made Matter Edition collections.
The store’s design concept is very open and sleek with ample room to navigate around the abundant glasses displays. The store features bright, vibrant artwork from artist Loveis Wise on both the interior and exterior.
“We celebrate every new Warby Parker store with artwork unique to each space and community, often collaborating with artists who have a personal connection to the city or town where we’re opening,” Warby Parker states in a press release.
Warby Parker values itself as an affordable, accessible and attractive eye care haven. The brand is giving back to the community by donating a pair of glasses to someone in need for every pair of glasses purchased.
Warby Parker Union Market District is located at 1258 4th Street NE, Washington DC.
