Spend a Saturday at the city’s premiere wine tasting event of the season.
DC Wine Fest is back this fall for the first time since the pandemic for a day full of drinks, entertainment, art and food. On Oct. 16, stop by the all day wine and beer tasting event at Dock 5 in Union Market. Attendees can try bottles from local and national wineries, including Rabble Wine Company, District Winery, Seppi and Amore Genéve Wine, and craft beers, seltzers and IPAs from Lost Barrel Brewing and The Bruery. Imbibe in The Bruery’s white chocolate raspberry brew or a sparkling wine from Seppi while tasting bites from vendors like Buddin Bakery and Corky’s Crab Cakes. In addition to the wine and dine element of the festival, visitors can listen to live music and view exhibitions from artists, such as Mare and Shelby Blondell. 1309 5th St. NE, dcwinefest.com
