Polaris Slingshot just launched its new 2022 lineup— one that pushes drivers to make their own mark with a next-level driving experience.
The 2022 collection features four trim levels and countless accessories that enhance the Polaris Slingshot drive, style and sound. In particular, this includes the reintroduction of the popular SLR model.
“There’s no wrong way to enjoy a Slingshot. Whether attracting attention with head-turning styling or escaping for an adventure, nothing on the road allows drivers to make their mark more than a Slingshot,” said Polaris Slingshot Vice President Chris Sergeant. “We’re excited to bring SLR back to expand the Slingshot lineup and provide our owners even more personalization opportunities with thrilling new factory accessories.”
As always, the Slingshot is a three-wheeled motorcycle, not an automobile. The three-wheeled autocycle has an open cockpit, side-by-side seating, 5-inch ride height and has AutoDrive and manual transmission options.
More importantly, it’s the perfect vehicle to jet around PCH to take in the sun and sea.
The revamped SLR blends style and performance with its ProStar four-cylinder engine with 203 horsepower and sleek two-tone exterior. It also features premium amenities like Slightshot’s Sports Interior Package and 7-inch display powered by Ride Command.
The 2022 lineup’s all-new features also include a vented sport hood that improves aerodynamics and cockpit airflow; an excursion top with an integrated, toolless install and four-piston Brembo Brakes that ensure unrivaled stopping power. The brakes, which come in red or orange, are standard for all 2022 R models and will be available for upgrade on others.
Most importantly, with style and adventure comes individualization and the Slingshot’ four thoughtfully curated accessory collections do just that. Elevate your driving experience with the Drive Series or opt for the ultimate head-turning accessories with the Show and Design Series. On the other hand, adventure seekers should choose the Escape Series to prep for a long ride in comfort.
Pricing on the various models and accessory packages varies and starts at $19,999. To note, the celebrated Slingshot SLR, which comes in Forged Orange, starts at $28,899. Shipping to dealers starts early next year.
