Meet Soheila Rostami, MD, FAAO, FAACS, the CEO and medical director of Sanctuary Cosmetic Center in McLean. Dr. Rostami opened her own practice more than 20 years ago, venturing into a male-dominated field. Leaving the stability of an established clinic to start Sanctuary Cosmetic Center meant facing uncertainty, but it allowed her to build an accredited surgery center that best aligns with her vision of patient care and innovation. “This leap has been incredibly rewarding and has been one of the biggest drivers of my growth besides my family,” she says.
In addition to fostering her own personal growth, Dr. Rostami pays it forward through charitable work–including KEEN, Children of Persia and OMID Foundation–and hosting more than 20 aspiring students, physicians and fellows in her practices to gain firsthand experience and insight into oculoplastic and cosmetic surgery.
