Accounting was an unexpected career avenue for Norris. While playing college football, he quickly realized the importance of discovering other professional paths for post-grad. “I found this profession to be intellectually stimulating but also immensely enjoyable,” he shares. What started as a practical backup plan evolved into a lifelong passion for Norris.
Now, this Modern Man “embraces innovation, challenges the status quo and refuses to be bound by conventional thinking.” A forward-thinking mindset, combined with the power of prayer, has been a guiding force throughout his journey. He imparts these sage words of advice to the next generation: “Every bump and bruise along your journey is instrumental in molding you into the person you aspire to be. Don’t be tempted by the easy path in life; obstacles equip you with the resilience needed to overcome any adversity in the future.”
As a champion of economic growth and inclusivity, Norris prioritizes backing Black-owned businesses, actively engaging with local nonprofits and extending his support to the military. He also regularly educates clients–utilizing his accounting expertise to empower others to make informed financial decisions.
