Highlight of the Year
It sounds cliché, but every sale truly is special to me as each is a unique experience. However, there was a particularly memorable sale in 2022 involving a couple who worked with another agent for months, submitting numerous offers with no luck, before being referred to me. They felt frustrated and defeated, thinking home-buying might not be in the cards for them. The pressure was on to secure them a win, and to do so before their looming lease expiration. Just two weeks after our first conversation, and without being the highest bid, we beat nine offers for their perfect home. Bringing those dreams to fruition after many unsuccessful, stressful months with their previous agent was a very proud moment for me.
Real Estate Reflections
The effects of rising interest rates have created much angst amongst current and prospective homeowners. However, keeping in mind that the real estate market is a cyclical one is crucial. Real estate, regardless of changing market conditions, is considered one of the safest investments for a reason. Homes, especially in our area, always hold their value. They will see dips and spikes, but over time will appreciate, providing solid returns. Given the post-pandemic market extremes, having a trusted advisor is more critical than ever to ensure informed decisions are made that protect and benefit clients both today and in the future.
