Holidays Through History

| December 4, 2013 | Calendar

Experience the best of the old and the very new at Tudor Place and three nearby historic houses, Dumbarton House, Woodrow Wilson House, and Anderson House. In a fresh approach at Tudor Place, Red, Green & Gold, The New and the Old: Tudor Place Sparkles for Christmas, an installation of 21st-century decor blends new and old, just as the estate's owners did over six generations. Visit one mansion only or all four to enjoy a variety of holiday decor, treats, music, and crafts for young folks, reflecting on the Federal period through the Gilded Age and into the present. At Tudor Place, children can create holiday cards in an art workshop led by Artist-in-Residence Peter Waddell. Shuttle bus transportation provided among sites.
