The Party
The W Hotel opened its doors to 300 tennis-minded VIPs for the Citi Open Player Party, signaling the start of this year’s Citi Open tennis tournament. After an exclusive dinner in the W’s ballroom, tennis champs and fans alike enjoyed in-house catered appetizers, DJ-mixed tunes and tennis-themed signature cocktails, like the Match Point, on the P.O.V Lounge.

The People
The Citi Open Player Party attracted a who’s who of the tennis world, including chairman and CEO of the Tennis Channel Ken Solomon, International Tennis Hall-of-Famer and creator of the Citi Open tournament Donald Dell, and easy-on-the-eyes tennis players like Tomas Berdych and Bernard Tomic.

Best in Show
What better way to celebrate this year’s tournament than with world-ranked players themselves? In addition to Berdych and Tomic, No. 11 Kei Nishikori, No. 14 Richard Gasquet and No. 17 Lucie Safarova were also seen mixing and mingling. Talk about a grand slam! –Photos by Tony Brown
