THE PARTY Capitol File and DC Magazine came together on January 23 to celebrate the renovation of the Fairfax Hotel on Embassy Row in the best way we know how - a cocktail party! THE PEOPLE Attendees included DC Magazine's Woman of Style Kelly Collis and Editor-in-Chief Kristen Schott, hairstylist Jérome Obry, and Barnette Holston. BEST IN SHOW Guests dined on a selection of plates from The Sally, the new eatery located inside the hotel. Games such as pool and chess were played over cocktails in the private event room. The mirror photo moment was a true crowd favorite. Some even got a tour of the president suites where they saw the true modern elegance of this renovation.
