The Washington Design Center’s 2012 DreamHome, was designed in partnership with The Smithsonian American Art Museum Renwick Gallery and its exhibit, “40 Under 40: Craft Futures".
Eight designers were asked to choose a piece from this collection of craft by our country’s most talented emerging artisans, and those pieces, which will be on view at the Renwick in July, serve as the inspiration for each room design.
