ENTREPRENEUR
“Fashion is in my DNA,” says Quin Lewis (@fashion_powr), who frequents Men’s Fashion Week in Paris and Milan, rubbing shoulders with celebrities, publicists and editors. “I love elegantly tailored menswear and statement pieces,” says Lewis, who has called DC home for over a decade. “I like the juxtaposition of different fabrics and prints mixed with textures to create a sophisticated look with depth and an unexpected touch of whimsy. Doug Kammerer photographed at Ligne Roset Georgetown
METEOROLOGIST, NBC4 WASHINGTON
Keeping one’s eyes on the skies is a preoccupation weather god Doug Kammerer (@dougkammerer) takes seriously. As the DC cliche goes, if you’re unhappy with the weather around here, wait a minute—it’ll change. “I love forecasting the everchanging weather in the DC area,” says Kammerer. “We get it all—severe storms, tornadoes, hurricanes and, my favorite, snowstorms.” The meteorologist for NBC4 Washington (nbcwashington.com) is as ubiquitous as political chatter but infinitely more trusted. “I help brighten people’s day,” says the DC native. “I love doing the weather, but I also love having fun, which comes through on the air. I love the weather and think people can feel my passion.”

PRESIDENT & CEO LEVINE MUSIC
“I love leadership—it’s rewarding and humbling to lead a team of people,” says Jeffery Tribble, Jr. (@jefftribblejr) about his role as president and CEO at the prestigious Levin Music (levinmusic.org). “If you’re fortunate, you’re leading people who are far more talented than you are in one or more areas. My job is to equip and empower a team to be great at what they do best.” Tribble, who hails from Chicago, has been a drummer since he was 3; it landed him a music scholarship to Howard University. He remained in DC and earned a law degree from George Washington University. “Some people peg me as ‘serious.’ But I’ve been sky-diving twice and eat Lucky Charms most mornings with my 3-year-old son.
