In celebrating this momentous milestone, The Center for Plastic Surgery pays tribute to Dr. James H. French, Jr., who will be retiring this summer. The center was formed in 1986 by Dr. French, Dr. Price, and Dr. Fleury, with the goal of providing a broader spectrum of plastic surgery procedures to a wider part of the Washington D.C. area.
The Center for Plastic Surgery has had the good fortune of being joined by the talented surgeons Dr. Samir S. Rao (2013) and Dr. Frank P. Albino (2017). With 4 highly skilled plastic surgeons, they are able to provide top of the line care in surgery of the face, breast, and body.
The Center for Plastic Surgery has continued to flourish into a practice of award-winning doctors known for their experience, skill, and the incredible results they provide their patients. The practice has grown to have 2 locations in Chevy Chase, Maryland and Northern Virginia, a private surgical suite, and a team of aestheticians and aesthetic nurse specialists who offer a vast array of services such as BOTOX, filler, lasers, facial treatments, and medical grade skincare.
This summer, Dr. French will be retiring, and the practice will be joined By Arjun P. Kanuri, MD. It is with mixed emotion that Dr. French announced his retirement; his last day in practice will be July 31, 2021.

Dr. French has full faith in the center's doctors, Wesley Price, Samir Rao, and Frank Albino, who he describes as "top drawer."
"They are fine, ethical men, who also happen to be excellent Plastic Surgeons. They will be joined this summer by Dr. Arjun Kanuri, an incredibly talented young Plastic Surgeon. The four will continue the CPS standard of excellence started years ago by Dr. Al Fleury, Sr. I hope that if my patients, or family and friends of my patients, should need or want Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, they will still consider CPS."
Dr. Arjun P. Kanuri, MD, MBA brings to the practice a commitment to providing safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. Dr. Kanuri understands that every patient is unique. He strives to fully understand his patients’ goals, create personalized treatment plans, and ultimately deliver beautiful and natural results. After finishing the Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency program at Georgetown University Hospital, an elite and highly competitive six-year program, Dr. Kanuri completed an additional fellowship in aesthetic surgery at the Manhattan, Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital (MEETH), the oldest and most prestigious aesthetic surgery fellowship in the country.
