The new space is located inside 2500 Penn, a Placemakr Experience boutique hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue. As guests enter the hotel they are guided through the lobby to a spanning 70-seat open-air patio with sand-colored rugs and verdant plantings guarding the perimeter. Wine bottle walls, intimate booths and dainty string lights, make the space Instagram-ready. And for days with less than ideal weather, there are 50 seats inside as well.

Wine, as the name implies, is the focus of the ever-changing menu. For its opening night on Wednesday, May 11, the wine menu featured 45 unique wines, six of which could be ordered by-the-glass. There’s a special focus on highlighting wines from female winemakers and owners, along with organic wines crafted sustainably with little intervention.

In addition to wines, there are also a handful of beers of tap and a small range of cocktails. The food menu features shareable dishes like seasonally-inspired pizza, charcuterie, cheese and spreads.

Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or simply a wine enjoyer, Bottles Wine Garden is a fabulous new addition to the West End.
Bottles Wine Garden is open from 5 p.m. to midnight Wednesday to Sunday. Hours are subject to change. The garden is located at 2500 Pennsylvania Ave., NW.
