The Capital City (DC) Chapter of the Links, Inc. held its 9th Annual Tea in the City celebrating and honoring Distinguished Women Leaders on April 15, 2023 at the West End Ritz Carlton. The celebration was kicked off by the MC – Media Political Analyst Michelle Bernard. A few of the of the honorees included the Jamaican Ambassador to the USA, Audrey Marks, the recipient of the International Engagement Award; Virginia Ali, the Owner of Ben’s Chili Bowl, who received the Community Impact Award; and, Yamiche Alcindor, NBC News Washington Correspondent, as the recipient of the Journalism Leadership Award.
