THE PARTY: DC Magazine and guests toasted to Greystar’s newest residence in Reston on June 5th, where they embraced the building’s mesmerizing, eco-friendly smart windows made from View Dynamic Glass.
THE PEOPLE: The evening’s attendees included DC Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Kristen Schott, Kelly Whittingham from View, and the fantastic Greystar team - Laura Paulson, Taylor Kelly, Emily Bunting, Jessica Murphy-Work, and Svetlana Slepukhova.
BEST IN SHOW: The apartment’s majestic penthouse and terrace is where it all took place. The evening’s celebratory atmosphere was set with live music by Dapper DJs’ Stephen (“DJ Chapstick), pleasing the crowd with his summery tunes and remixes. The guests were mingling and admiring the building’s breathtaking indoor and outdoor aesthetics, all while enjoying delicious Cuban hors d’oeuvres by Colada Shop and signature tarts by Ted’s Bulletin, and sipping on Peroni beer and Vida Tequila signature cocktails - served by the fabulous Gravy staff. To match the night’s colorful spirit, live art demos were provided by LS Art Illustrations, where each guest received a personalized portrait illustration created with artistic mastery. Artisan Matchmaker and DNicole Settings created the most stunning photo moment, and in the midst of all the fun, the excited crowd was shown a video reel of what they all gathered to celebrate - Exo’s View Dynamic Glass. The room was filled with widened-eyed guests, who were left entirely wowed by the building’s kaleidoscopic exterior that changes its tint based on heat, glare and daylight.
