There’s much to relish at Nancy Pearlstein’s so-named Georgetown boutique—this time via Plan C. It’s the breakout collection from fashion royalty Carolina Castiglioni (daughter of Marni founder Consuela Castiglioni). The shop is the exclusive DC outpost for the brand. Pearlstein says she’s been “blown away” by the products, which showcase how Carolina’s inspiration is not merely inherited, but also uniquely evolved. “She loves to interpret the classics and make them her own,” says Pearlstein. “Whereas Marni has more bohemian roots.” The collection features delicate prints and bold lines that coexist peacefully despite contrast, merging to create a ready-to-wear selection fitting for work, fun and travel alike. Soft femininity and edge interact playfully. It’s sophisticated and suited to DC’s stylish set. “You can adapt Plan C into most professional wardrobes,” says Pearlstein. “Especially... with some menswear fabrications and styles.” 3312 Cady’s Alley NW, relishdc.com
