THE PARTY On June 27th, the Jenn Smira Team with Compass Realty and DC Magazine hosted an elegant evening to showcase a stunning new space: the Gaslight District. Guests were welcomed at the door with a glass of champagne and ushered into the main-floor kitchen to a carving station and other delicious bites served by Well Dunn catering. Outside on the back patio, guests were served Peroni beer, Edelheiss wine and a specialty watermelon cocktail. Guests lounged on the gorgeous outdoor furniture, provided by Ampa, while sipping drinks and eating sweet treats from the s’mores bar. Another main attraction was the beautiful fern wall created by DNicole Settings, adorned with DC Magazine and Jenn Smira Team logos constructed by Artisan Matchmaker. It made for the perfect photo-op.
BEST IN SHOW As guests followed the party upstairs, they were treated to a charcuterie and cheese bar on the second floor, where artist Elena Fay worked on stunning live drawings of the guests. Entering the penthouse, Rebeca of Melissa’s Creations stood behind bunches of flowers demonstrating how to arrange the prettiest bouquets. Her floral arrangements also brightened every room in the space. Also in the penthouse was Sugar & Ice’s candy bar, with an array of treats ready to satisfy any sweet-tooth. Moving all the way to the top floor, guests relaxed on the deck, overlooking the entire city, and enjoyed the aromas of the Jo Malone scent bar as the lovely scents from candles, perfumes, colognes, and diffusers drifted in the breeze.
THE PEOPLE Jenn Smira and the Jenn Smira Team of Compass Realty proudly showed off the hours of work they put into making these townhomes absolutely exquisite. The party was also attended by Kristen Schott, Editor-in-Chief of DC Magazine, who came to chat and check out the super trendy space.
