Patriotic Series: Washington Nationals vs. Cincinnati Reds

National Independence Day Parade
After a two-year hiatus, the country’s largest Fourth of July parade is returning to the heart of the District. Gather anywhere between 7th and 17th Street on Constitution Ave. from 11:45 a.m. - 2 p.m. to watch towering balloons of historical leaders and decadent floats glide by. July 4th Fireworks on the National Mall
There is no better backdrop for a firework display than the monuments and memorials surrounding the National Mall. Find a spot anywhere between the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and the Capitol for a view of the 35-minute show, which will burst with color from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, nps.gov

Fourth at the Wharf
Head to the wharf for a VIP viewing party of the National Park Service fireworks. From 7-10 p.m., attendees can sip, dine and celebrate Independence Day away from the crowds, with 270-degree views of the city from the Dockmaster Building. Red, White & With A View: Moonraker Rooftop Party
Pendry’s signature rooftop restaurant, Moonraker (which boasts expansive views from The Potomac to national monuments) will host an Independence Day party on Tuesday, July 4, when guests can witness fireworks from across the river to Fireworks on the National Mall.
