In recognition of the role of journalists in the U.S. and worldwide in safeguarding democracy through a free, fair, and open press. Meridian International Center partnered with the White House Foreign Press Group for the third annual White House Foreign “Press Pass” Party on Thursday, April 25. The event was hosted at the historic Meridian House and co-chaired by Ambassadors Laurent Bili of France, Catalina Crespo-Sancho of Costa Rica, Kirsten Hillman of Canada, Ramon Martinez de la Guardia of Panama, Jacque Pitteloud of Switzerland, Jean-Arthur Regibeau,; and Taka Abe, Jim Acosta and Liz Landers, Peter Alexander, Kylie Atwood, Jonathan Capehart, Josh Dawsey, Jessica Dean, Jennifer Griffin and Greg Myre, Ryan Heath, Mary Louise Kelly, Raquel Krähenbühl, Ryan Lizza and Olivia Nuzzi, Amna Nawaz, Anna Palmer and Symone Sanders-Townsend.
