THE PARTY: Over forty of the District’s best female chefs, culinary creators and mixologists headed to the Wharf for the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance’s 14th annual “Turn Up the Heat” event at the Anthem. There they were joined by 400 guests, who roamed the space sipping and sampling as they went. THE PEOPLE: Chef Seng Luangrath, the Lao cuisine master behind the celebrated local spot Thip Khao, was recognized with the “Chef on Fire” award, presented by Audra Moran, President and CEO of the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, and Chef Elle Simone Scott of America’s Test Kitchen. BEST IN SHOW: In between bites, guests were able to participate in an exciting live auction.
